This is not an emergency service

Some things need help now, not a video call. If you have chest pain, trouble breathing, heavy bleeding, signs of a stroke, or thoughts of harming yourself, call your local emergency number or go to an emergency department.

Do not book a call and wait.

A video call cannot do everything

Your doctor cannot examine you. They cannot take your blood pressure, listen to your chest, feel where it hurts, look in your ears or send you for a test. They are working from what they can see and what you tell them.

That is enough for a great many things and not enough for some. Part of what you are paying for is a doctor who will tell you which of those yours is, and send you to be seen in person when that is the answer.

What a call can produce depends on where you are

Our doctors are licensed in Thailand, and a license to prescribe stops at the border.

In Thailand your doctor can prescribe, have medicine delivered to you, and issue the medical certificate your employer asks for, each of those if they judge it appropriate. Delivery covers Bangkok and much of the country, though not every address.

Everywhere else they cannot prescribe, arrange medicine or certify you unfit for work. You get the consultation, an opinion on whether what you describe needs care today and what kind, your questions answered, and a written summary to take to a doctor or pharmacy where you are.

None of that is guaranteed, in either case. A prescription and a medical certificate are both clinical decisions, and your doctor may decide against either.

The advice is for you, and for now

What your doctor tells you is based on what you describe on the day. It is not a standing instruction. If things change, get worse, or do not improve the way you were told to expect, see somebody where you are.

Nothing on this website is medical advice. The pages here describe a service. Only a doctor on a call can advise you.

Our doctors are real, and checkable

Every doctor on this site is registered with the Medical Council of Thailand. We publish their name and their registration number so that you do not have to take our word for it.
