Questions people ask before they book

Yes. Every call is with a licensed physician. You can see who you will talk to, with their name and registration number, before you pay.

You pick a time from the calendar when you book, and the earliest one on it is the soonest we can see you. Our doctors run this alongside hospital work, so most appointments are evenings, early mornings and weekends. There is no round-the-clock cover yet, so there will be times of day when the earliest slot on the calendar is tomorrow.

No. The call opens in your browser. You give an email address and a payment, nothing else.

Yes, once the booking is paid for. The confirmation page and your confirmation email both offer a way to send your doctor test results, a referral letter, a list of the medicines you take or a photograph — up to 5 files. It is optional, and nobody reads it before your appointment, so it is not the place for anything urgent.

Up to 24 hours before it starts, at no charge — reply to your confirmation email and we will do it. Inside those 24 hours the fee is not refundable, because your doctor has held that time around another job.

Your doctor waits 5 minutes, and after that the appointment counts as having happened and is not refunded. So join a few minutes early. If it was something at our end that kept you out, that is not a missed appointment and you are not paying for it.

Open the same link again and you rejoin; your doctor stays for the rest of your slot. If the call cannot be completed at all and that was not something you could help, we book you in again at no charge, or refund you in full if you would rather not.

In Thailand, yes, if the doctor thinks you need it — and in Bangkok and many other areas they can have it delivered to you rather than sending you out for it. Anywhere else our doctors are not licensed to prescribe, so you get advice, a written summary and a clear view of whether you need to be seen locally.

In Thailand, yes. If your doctor agrees you are unwell, they can issue the medical certificate your employer asks for, and it reaches you with your written summary. Outside Thailand our doctors cannot issue one.

Anywhere. What differs is what the call can produce: in Thailand a prescription, delivered medicine and a medical certificate; everywhere else advice and a written summary.

Not at the moment, and that includes a parent booking for a child. The person being seen has to be 18 or over and on the call themselves.

You get a full refund, automatically.
